Now this brings back memories. I remember going to an open day at my local station as a young child in the late 80s or early 90s and seeing this beast - at that age and height it seemed absolutely enormous to me! Wonder what happened to it in the end - no doubt one of this site's knowledgeable contributors will know.

It still exists somewhere today. Quick DVLA check reveals that it has been repainted white and is taxed until the end of this month.

Tom, Can you please educate me as to how you can obtain this information? I have been trying to obtain information regarding several fire appliances and can't get help, guidance, or anything from the Police (Data Protection) and like wise with DVLA at Swansea. Can you help?
