Is this one of the "royal" ones? Windsor Castle had one c1980. Royal cypher on the doors from memory.

I've got NLR 936 here in the States.

It's a 1951 80" but without any of its kit.

I'd love to know more about its history / how it ended up over here.

I'm not sure if this one worked at Rickett and Coleman in Kingston-upon-Hull. I photographed her at the Malton show in 1995.

PGK is a government issued reg no. There are a few others in preservation.

I have this Land Rover now, it belonged to Cranfield College of Aeronautics up till about 1980, I got it in 2014

This Series 1 Land Rover is one of only 47 built as a fire tender for the Ministry of Supply; this was prior to the outsourcing of such conversions, built in-house at the Solihull factory.
