Fire Engines Photos

This is an ex Westmorland machine. There were two of these preserved but one vanished (maybe Reg No sold) I think this was Applebys.

This is indeed ex Appleby. The sister landy to this was LEC35 and stationed at Ambleside. LEC 955 was replaced by MEC 883K. Pictures of these can be found by visiting the excellent 'Delta 64' fire service website. LEC 35 became USL 696, and now lives in West Cumbria, it may become a fire appliance again in the future.
