This picture was taken by Lester Solway and is published with his permission. It shows the working end of the Bedford Tk/Wincanton Motors Water Carrier from Bridgwater in use at a Cottage Fire on the edge of Westonzoyland airfield, Somerset in 1979.

Thanks Paul for sharing this interesting photo. I like how the 'portable' pump slides out from the rear locker and the arm and hook on top of the tank to lift the pump from the truck with the 2 wheels so the pump can be taken to open water supply.
