Fire Engines Photos

This is a 1940 Leyland FK8A pump escape,it went into service with the Windermere Urban District Council Fire Brigade in September of 1940.

When owned and stored in Devon it took part in the lord mayors parade in Plymouth and was seen on local TV as a result. it featured in most rallies in Devon & Cornwall as well as Tavistock fire station open days
