Landrover L4T - Worthing, West Sussex
March 2nd 1992, and West Sussex Land Rover TCR 356T attends a roof fire in Kingsland Road , Broadwater, Worthing. This L4T was new to Worthing in 1979, in a dual roal, of Training Center appliance, brigade reserve, and operational 4 wheel drive duties at Worthing. On this occasion she had turned out with the Thermal Image camera, which at the time was held on station and mobilised as required. In the mid 1990s she moved to East Grinstead to provide a 4 wheel drive capacity in the east of the county until replaced in 1999. West Sussex had 10 of these appliances, 4 delivered in 1979 and 6 in 1980,all with small water tank & hosereel behind the cab, space for equipment or personnel behind. Worthings 2 full time Dennis appliances are just visible behind B417 UBP & E613 JBP.
