Roger: would it have been transported across, when brand-new, on one of those wonderful Side-Wheel Steam Paddle-Wheelers, to Liss, Isle of Wight ?

The Dennis guys will fill us in, on this neat little rig.......

Hi Pat,
Liss is on the mainland in Hampshire, but yes it could well have come over on a paddle-steamer at the end of its working life, they were still running in the 60's
