That's the first time I have seen a bell on a Dennis RS! Surely not hand rung to?

No it was electric, all our Dennis RS in Clwyd carried bells as a secondary warning device. Dodge G13/Fulton&Wylie C256SJC was the last Water Ladder delivered with a bell to Clwyd. It was destroyed in a roll-over accident in Pontybodkin whilst running as a spare at E9 Mold.
