Clwyd purchased two twin axel caravan units that were converted by Lynton Trailers in 1986.One was converted into a decontamination unit based at Deeside; the other was converted into a control unit based at Rhyl.
The units were towed using Range Rover vehicles. NCC 777R towed the decontamination unit.
The commer water tender seen in the back ground was temporally used to tow the decontamination unit until the purchase of two Bedford tractor units.
