Wow, long way from its Builders.

Obviously, Water Supply can be pretty critical on those Pacific Islands.

Guessing from the Cross-Lay Hose Bed, it carries a pump as well.

Hi Pat,

Yes it does have a pump panel on the other side and a hose reel as well.
Plenty of water but only salt, this unit use to stand by at the airport (when I was there in 1995) I believe since then that all the Islands have an E-One crash rig.

My dad was the chief of police of Pohnpei (Ponape) and also the lone local airport crash/rescue firefighter. I remember sitting in this truck with my dad at the end of the runway nearest the T way to the active runway, waiting on Air Micronesia (Continental) B727 fly in every weekend. RWY 9/27 was a coral shell runway back in the 70s.
