Land Rover 6x6 Penzance Airfield

G146OYC. Can anyone tell me if this was on the run at Wesland helicopters prior to going on the run at Penzance Airfield? No bodywork insigna anywhere?

Andrew this RIV based on a second-user Land Rover was converted to 6x6/supplied new by Firefly Engineering. In 2009 FVS basically had to rebuild the tender. I saw a similar vehicle in Ascension Island last year.

I believe that this has now gone to the Falklands as Penzance heliport now has a chevy 4x4

I love these 6x6 vehicles, I'm collecting parts and materials to build one for myself. This project will take a fare while to build it but I can't wait to get started.
It will be a Land Rover 6x6 Double Cab with stretched Hi Capacity pickup, the pickup bed on mine will be 8ft long.
