Thanks for this Petros, I remember her at Peterborough, a lovely machine.

The main Cambridge city station on Parker's Piece had a very similar R series 4X4 tanker in 1963. It had a 1000 gallon (4550 liter)tank and a transverse-mounted 350 GPM portable pump at the rear, which was pre-plumbed into the tank.
