I visited this station about eight years ago while on holiday and was made most welcome by the fire crew on duty, this part of the station I believe is the original fire station, on my visit fire kit and offices were in this part of the station and all fire appliances were kept in a later extension in a yard to the right of this building, i got the feeling that the fire and rescue services on northern cyprus were either ran or partly ran by the police but I may be wrong on that one.
