Thanks for this Nicolas, am I alone in thinking this breaks UK traffic law? If thats red reflective to the side, it should surely only show to the rear.

The current situation is that distinctive retro-reflective markings are not allowed in the regulations, but temporary special orders issued under the Road Traffic Act allow the emergency services to use them.
This is until legislation can be passed.

Hi Yelp and John! The reflective tape is NOT Orange and yellow! It's Red and yellow!!! By rules from the EU, the Police=Blue and yellow, the F&Rs=Red and yellow, the Ambulance=Green and yellow!
