The appliance was new to Manchester Airport, I am sure there is loads of information on this site. The appliance was used to pump out flooded properties in the city of York a few years ago.

This is a Chubb "Pathfinder" WNE 371L was one of two delivered to Manchester Airport in 1973/74. The other being YVU 138M.

This appliance was donated to Elvington from Manchester Airport, this appliance attended the Manchester Aircrash in the 1980's.

Hi Dougie they have now been donated the newyork pathfinder no4 which chubbfire got back from the US from and on to FVS I tested all 12 of the vehicles and a good friend did all of the road test work up down the M3 photos to follow

I think these vehicles were built for Chubb by a company named TT Boughton in Devon. They had a GM 16V 2-stroke diesel engine and an Alison automatic gearbox. As technical manager of Smiths, the maker of their dashboard instuments, I had a scary ride down the M4 in one at around 80mph
