Fire Engines Photos

Further information has come to light - this appliance was ordered by Southampton FB before it merged into Hampshire in the 1974 boundary changes, which is why it does not look like a Hants machine.

This Bedford TK was built by HCB-Angus and, as has been advised by Peter Williams, it was supplied to the Southampton Fire Brigade. It came out of service with the Hampshire Fire Brigade after the Rolls Royce petrol engine seized on the way to a 'persons reported'. That must have been more than 20 years ago; I acquired it soon afterwards and it's been in storage ever since.
