This is a big truck - most likely a 26 tonner. The chassis and drive line are actually MAN, but the cab is from an old series VW LT truck, which explains why it is so narrow, and looks altogether too small.

In Brazil and Argentina VW market their heavy trucks (which are locally built) as VWs, because of VW's strong brand reputation - while the MAN brand is unheard of...
