CCC 160 Commer Carmichael WrE Gwyneddtaken at Conway fire station Gwynedd FS 1975. Ed Doherty was officer in charge and he kindly got the machine out for me. It carried 400 gallons and an escape ladder so called water escape WrE. Conway is an English planted town from the 12th century in North Wales beside the magnificent castle. The old station prior to this one was a shed attached to the medieval wall.
