Leyland Salvage Tender CKC 948K

taken 1975, a Leyland Charterway ST with Liverpool Salvage Corps. This bodybuilder built several units for LSC but I have not been able to discover much about them, except they were called Charterway Coachcraft.

Petros,
This was the Leyland 'Redline' job, and whilst there were indeed Charterway built examples with LSC later, was this particular one not by Cocker of Southport ?

the 2019 book on Leyland fire engines post-war does indeed say this is by Cocker not Charterway. I am happy to defer.

What an ugly thing ! I wouldn't be very pleased when this turned up after I'd paid all the money.
