2998 VF: I don't know much about this oldie - other than it is a Commer Water Tender displaying Norfolk and Wymondham decals. It was parked near my house in Staffordshire when I came home one evening. I had to rush to fetch my camera to provide you 'oldie' fans with a couple of shots.

There is a web site dedicated to commers called commer connections, it is based in new zealand and has a wealth of info on it.
If you go to the 'galleries' section and chose fire engines in England you can see pictures of this engine being restored - Its Ex Norfolk and there are pics of it back in its old station of Wymondham
