I believe that this truck was built in 1981 for Iran.(may have been sold in 1987) I worked for CDN The Nordic Group at the time, who built "Foam Boss". There was two as mentioned of this model as well as some larger articulating units built for Iran. This was at the start of the Iran/Iraq war and the order was built and completed but never shipped because couldn't guarantee safe delivery.(Through Iraq) This was the beginning of the demise of The Nordic Group as they had to down size from their truck manufacturing facility in Oakville Ontario moving back into their Mississauga foundry location.

Hi Rodger, This truck served it's life at YVR from delivery. It's twin went to Grande Prairie Alberta where it served for many years. At times this truck was stationed at Abbotsford airport, where YVR conducted fire training.
