AP6 60m Scania R143EL/SK Fire - Simon SS600 (923476) - Godiva XB406T 1992-2005 on 07-08-2000 involved in an accident.
After the accident the boom wasn't operational anymore and it was used as a class 5 driver training vehicle.
I loved to work with this machine, it took 12 minutes to be fully extend to 60 meters.

Is the operation of this appliance are the same like snorkel (hydraulic platform)?If i not mistaken the SCDF website classify this AP as Aerial Ladder(AL).

No it's really an AP (Aerial Platform)and it operated as a HP (Hydraulic Platform)It's just a different name they gave to it. It doens't had a ladder attached on the boom like the CLP have.
