J73 GRV having spent it's operational life at Crawley, was a Driver training appliance from 2004 until early 2007 when it was converted for the Brigades Cadet Scheme, which involved it being refurbished re-lettered "WSF&RS youth initiatives" and given a shorter ladder housed on a gantry for easy manual handling for cadets. The same treatment was given to it's sister J76 GRV. Jon
