This demonstrates how in the US each department - and often each fire engine company - specifies its hose bed configuration and lays out its various hoses differently.
This variety enables them to design the hose load for the most common situations they encounter, and any specific problems in their individual response area - rather than sticking to a rigid formula so that "one size fits all".
Large Diameter Hose(LDH)- supply line - on the left.
In middle; 2 1/2 inch hose connected through Siamese Wye to two 1 1/2 inch hoses and nozzles(branches)
On right; 2 1/2 inch hose and nozzle.
That ladder must come down, over the side, on lowering arms.
