This station has two pumps {Scania HX09 BYG and Dennis Rapier W689 AOR} and both are manned by Retained firefighters.

Due to West sussex Fire & rescue services cuts this stations second appliinace was withdrawn from service in late 2010. other stations that also lost their second aplliance were East Preston and Horley. 3 further stations were closed. Bosham, Keymer & Findon.
