F.D.N.Y.Ladder Company 10 Rapid Response Vehicle (RRV).2001 Ford F450 Series Chassis/Knaphiede Bodywork.These Rapid Response Vehicles are crewed as required and are able to operate on a stand-alone basis.The new vehicles now widely used by fire companies across the city carry no pump or water tank and are for rescue at power blackouts and also as support units to Haz-Mat incidents.RRV 10 is located with Engine Co 10,Ladder Co 10 at Liberty Street in the Borough of Manhattan across the street of the former World Trade Centre site.

Hi guys, this vehicle is actual a 2001 Ford / Knapheide utility truck. This one is Ladder 10's Chemical Protective Clothing Unit, hence the L-10 and CPC codes marked on it. Ladder companies throughout the are equipped with these vehicles which carry extra chemical protection suits in case of a Hazmat or bio-Chemical incident.
