Fire trucks on American Ford chassis were very popular in Belgium in the 1940s, 50s and 60s.

I remember seeing two of them in action at a pub fire in Brussels in the summer of 1964. Unlike this example, with a rather unusual mid-mount pump, one had a rear mount and the other had its pump mounted in front. One of them looked as if it might have been even older, perhaps pre-war.
