A long with 3 other fire engines i photoed in 2007 at South Western Vehicle Auctions was this Tyne and Wear Fire Brigade Volvo FL6 with Excalibur body work.It was stationed at Wallsend.

Does any one know where this appliance ended up after leaving Tyne And Wear, until it ended up at this auction. Was it used by another brigade ?

central scotland still has a G reg on the run as a spare G402 HLS i think, is this the oldest appliance on the run in the country today.
