1990 Mercedes Benz/Mountain Range Crash Tender.
From 1990,this was a Mercedes Benz 917AF/Mountain Range Crash Tender originally put on the run at Crawley Fire Station in the County of West Sussex.The appliance(G265 VBP)was then relocated in 1996 to Horsham where it served until going out of service in 2004.
This photograph taken in 2004 shows the appliance having just gone out of operational service at the 2004 Amberley Fire Show of that year in the striking livery that the brigade had adapted some years earlier.The appliance that replaced this Crash Tender(P829 JPO),a Mercedes Benz/JDC HRT is still on the run at this time,but is due to be replaced in 2009 by a 2009 Scania/JDC HRT.

Stuart,some slight confusion and I do apologise for the way I typed this out. It should say that this Crash Tender originally stationed at Crawley was replaced in 1996 at Crawley with a Mercedes HRT with the registration P829JPO. The later mentioned HRT has now also been replaced with one of those Scania/JDC HRT's at Crawley.
