Bletchley Fire Station, Buckinghamshire

Bletchley was once an important town in its own right but has now become part of the Borough and New City of Milton Keynes. The fire station is located in Sherwood Drive, near the famous wartime codebreaking centre at Bletchley Park, and was opened in 1965. The appliance line up at the 2009 open day comprises from left to right: a Vauxhall Astra command car with the exhibition unit behind, Volvo water tender/tanker Y83 MWL (retained) in the old dayglo livery, Scania rescue pump KX55 PMO (wholetime) and one of the USAR prime movers visiting from Aylesbury. Visible in the drill yard is the ladder of Great Holm's Quint. Also stationed at Bletchley are the community safety vehicles and one of the victim support units operated in conjunction with the British Red Cross.

Ar0ooh, Adam, I didn't realize it was dayglo red, (I don't like that colour). Your previous pic looked more like the NZ livery which is a sort of burnt orange, it has a name for the colour but I can't think what it is at the moment. Regardless, your previous pic was a beaut!
