Actually built by Eone in Ocala Fla USA, one of a dozen or so delivered in the early 80's. They were looking worse for wear the last time I was at their H.Q. in Nassau in '91.

The Bahamas had a long history of buying Macks. I suspect they were sorely disappointed by these rebadged Renaults, which were not built to anything remotely resembling the quality standards and durability levels of Mack's own production units.

Mack was a legendary brand - possibly the World's leading truck manufacturer at the time. But slapping the word MACK on a Renault did nothing to improve its mediocre performance and quality, and doing this was a rather short-lived mistake on the part of the French management after they bought the Mack company.

Its a 4-club cab!They where used by Volvo, Daf, Saviem and Magirus.Saviem became a part of Renault and Magirus became a part of Iveco.
