Hi Adam, do you have an upto date list of all of Cleveland's recent transfers?

Added by Chris Hall Teesside. UK. on 30 August 2009.
Hi Chris, Unfortunately I havent got any records of any transfers around Cleveland, sorry. I was meaning to ask you something, Where is R246 JNL hiding now? Its not still at Stranton is it because I thought they have R248 JNL and some 07' Reg Sabres .. Do you know what Appliance is at Headland Station? Cheers

Hi Adam, according to my latest fleetlist dated 30th April 09, the R---JNL batch were allocated as follows, R246JNL (Billingham), R247JNL (Marine) R248JNL (Billingham). The same list says that S667KRG was at the Headland, but these vehicles may well have moved by now. As of Tuesday 26th Feb 10, there were two Scanias parked up at Thornaby workshops without their ladders. However I couldn't get close enough to identify them. I do have fleet lists going back to the early 90's I think 1993 is about the earliest one I have.

I saw the extra parked appliances at Thornaby the other day, wondered what they were for... maybe off to auction soon?

Are there any reserve SSs left, not including the Young Firefighters'?

Pete, M813TVN has been refurbished and is in the later dark red livery. It currently operates from Stockton (Norton). I last saw it on Monday 25th January on Norton road, and again later when it was in the bay at Stockton Fire Station. Sister M814TVN is a Trainer at Middlesbrough. It still wears the earlier vermillion livery.

Adam, Sabre P313HVN is still at Yarm. I saw that earlier today (13th Feb 2010).

Thanks Chris, I was about to comment to say I seen R248 JNL in Redcar yesterday, as Golf 3 Billingham.

I'm glad R246 JNL is still in service, I use to always see it around Middlesbrough when it was Alpha 3 then eventually Alpha 1.

I have seen M812 TVN a few times as reserve at Skelton Station. N748 YAJ is still the original appliance.

Those Scanias could be new appliances, about time we got some new appliances! If anything was to be next in reserve I'd say it would be the N746/8/50 YAJ engines ...

Thank you for the information Chris.

Hi Ian, thanks for the information.

Any info on what would happen to NY03 JUF (Alpha 1) and NX06 AOC (Alpha 3)
Is the HP at Middlesbrough (Alpha 6 - E604 LHN) going into reserve or is it to be completely withdrawn from service?

Cheers.

Hi Ian, yeah I saw the new HP and two of the Scanias today (17/2/10) whilst going past on the bus. A fellow enthusiast told me that he'd seen the new Volvo HP out on the road last week, so perhaps its now active?

How long do you think Ian, before all the SS type pumps are gone from the fleet then?

Added by Chris Hall Teesside. UK. on 20 February 2010.
hi chris, no idea at the moment, but i will ask,

Added by Ian Mc on 21 February 2010.
Hey Gents,
Bit of info, Alpha 1 and Alpha 3 are definately being replaced by new appliances, Alpha 6 (E604 LHN) is still on the run, and like Ian said, until all staff are trained on the new Bronto.

I know this is whats has practically been said but this is just confirmation lol hope it helps!
