michael g ............... yes after digging around I think you right, I stand corrected !! its an a type and it says the same in a handbook I have. very rare beasty, but lovely and in great condition. Looking at my book Alfred miles produced a type chassis upto 58

Hi, am trying to get photograhs of fire engines that my late father used to drive while being a leading fireman for the Avon brigade. Is it at all possible to get a copy of this one. Thanks

David, it might be better off asking on the Facebook forums, they are far more active than this page. There groups I'd ask in are FSPG (fire service preservation group, UK Fire Brigade History and the HCB Angus group..
