Minehead's 1970 Bedford TK WrL.

Although it was November, this shot from 1983 shows Minehead's 1970 Bedford TK/HCB-Angus WrL at a local heath fire - it had been a very dry autumn that year. This appliance gave very long service in the town but was getting near the end of it's life with Somerset FB at this time. Very much a "business end" shot! Note the driver/pump operator (Colin Westcott) with a hand-held two-way radio.

Thanks for sharing this great photo Chris. Another great fire appliance, they would pump for days on end without any problem, just keep topping the fuel up. Great to see the driver/pump operator with his cap on, not many UK fire brigades with flat caps these days.
