There's something I like about this machine, but I don't know what exactly.

Nice to see this has made it into preservation. I remember either this one or a sister vehicle serving in my home town of Buckingham in the late 1990s (no photos unfortunately as it was before I got into photography).

Adam, am I correct in thinking Aylesbury had one of these?

Wow, only 15 years old; and in preservation already.....

Fire-Engines these days must be aging really fast these days; or are the 'Elf & Safety Regs putting them out to pasture ?

A nice-looking truck; good job of fitting the Crew Compartment, to the standard Truck Cab. The white trim balances off the vivid Day-Glow orange rather neatly, IMHO.

Chassis & Engine - Renault, is France; so, who would be Mid-Liner, that must have done the body-work ?

Pat, Midliner is the model of Renault that this is, the bodywork is by Emergency-One.

This appliance was new to Gerrards Cross in 1994 and featured in the TV programme Blues & Twos.It was last stationed in my home town Chesham. Bucks Fire & Rescue web site indicates that it had covered 64000kms when sold by tender in 2007 for £1850

The appliance was one of two built that served with Bucks. This one was at Gerrards Cross 1994-96, Buckingham 1996-2002 and finally Chesham 2002-2006. The other one J803TRO was based at Beaconsfield and Brill.
