does anyone know what replacement pumps the fire service college has been given for the pumps they lost in the fire?

Jake,
Unfortunately this appliance was destroyed in the recent fire. This was the last vehicle that I spent many hours refurbishing,before I left the College for pastures new.
I am led to believe the FSC may be in the process of purchasing some ex Oxfordshire FRS Appliances to replace some of those lost.

David, just noticing you mentioning that you used to work at Moreton, I wonder whether you happen to have any information about the Fire Service College's 6 x 4 Range Rover Commando, is it still there, if not any idea what happened to it?

The Range Rover is no longer at the College, it was disposed of prior to me joining in 2005. Unfortunately I do not know its fate.

Thanks David, perhaps someone else my be able to tell us. At least it wasn't in the fire, I was at the college not long after and pleased to see the ex London Salvage Corps machine escaped.

If it helps in finding whether the ex-Morton 1980 Rangerover/Carmicheal went into preservation,the registation of that appliance which was used as a rescue tender at the College was:-CYH 442V.

Hi Pete, knew I could rely on you. Well it must be on the road as DVLA website shows it taxed until the end of the year - be interesting to know what it's used for, have to search through my pics to see if it is preserved. Thanks
