Haifischmaul (Shark mouth)
This one is the first version of the LO wich was build by Robur. This LO 1800 gets the nickname
"Haifischmaul" (shark mouth) because of the design of his front. This very simply kind of an fire engine and all the later versions of it becames the most build fire engine in the GDR.

The picture was taken at the 28.06.09 and shows the Robur with a ladder trailer.

The crew, the PP, the hoses and equipment all went into the cargo compartment of what was essentially a standard basic commercial truck - pretty much like a wartime AFS unit. The 18 metre trailer ladder was once very popular in Germany. Unlike the similar Gugumus ladder in France, it was too cumbersome to be mounted on a vehicle, and of course German fire services were - and still are - very fond of trailers.
As compact TTLs and light weight 15 metre ground ladders became available, this type of ladder died out, and they are no longer in daily use.

Robur
That towed Ladder is intriguing - I suppose it would be a Towed Wheeled Escape, in Britain.
Did you see one, being put up (in use) ?
