Interesting that these pumpers include ideas from both the USA and Germany. The rear roller shutter lockers contain preconnected flaked hoses, an idea which originated in the USA around a hundred years ago. The side deliveries are also a very old concept, cropping up on German pumpers around the same time. Both concepts are still very common, and brought together like this they do seem to be a very sensible combination of ideas. It also looks as if this pumpers has dropped the idea of high pressure first aid hose reels. Interestingly, these have largely disappeared in Germany and America too, as fire services have made higher volume water flows and/or CAFS prerequisites for all structural firefighting.
