I served on this appliance when it was delivered brand new. You needed to sit with your head down in the crew cab as the ladder stowage was sunk into the crew cab...happy days

picture 21658 shows another low-profile Bedford, from same area (low railway bridge) and you can see ladder inset roof stowage, peeking out from behind front blue beacon.
