This picture was taken at the Fire Engine Rally at Escot Park, Devon on 28th June 2009. It shows a Merryweather Albion Pump Escape AOD637 which was purchased by Exmouth Fire Brigade in Devon in 1934. It later passed into the control of Devon County Fire Brigade and is now owned by the Fire Station Museum in Devonport.

It's always interesting to those enamored of the old classics in firefighting, and I, for one thank Paul for sharing this photo of a most rare Albion. Isn't it strange how these oldtimers get hidden from public view for such a long period of time then decades later come back to life Is this one running Paul?
