Do you know anything about these interesting appliances? I think they are Medium Demountable Chassis(MDC), which was the LFB's form of a medium sized prime mover. Thats just about all I know about them. Post more photos if you can, as these are quite interesting.

This was one of 31 Renault-Dodge S56/Rawson Medium Duty Control vehicles aquired by the London Fire Brigade in 1988. Registered numerically from E901JYV-E931JYV and fleet numbers MDC1-31. This one, MDC 1 saw service at Wembley.
thank you for that information. I know that the Dodge G13 and Volvo FL-6 demountable chassis were the HDCs, so if the Renault-Dodges were the MDCs, then were there any Light or Small demountable chassis? I also saw some small Bedford 50s as demountable chassis in the LFB. Do you have a history on those as well?

Jeffery - there were an additional 18 Dodge S56s acquired in 1989, registered G232UUW- G249UUW, there's differed slightly as they were converted by King & Taylor rather than Rawson.
