Fire Engines Photos

I believe this was one of a batch of three, this was the only one of the batch to go to Avon. The other two stayed with Somerset. This one went to the Fire Station in the sky 01/11/1986. Of its sisters FYC689K was last seen 01/01/1999 and FYC690K was gone 01/01/1992.

I think Weston also had PYC322L another TK "Angus" as a WrL, that was from a batch of four. PYC321L was last heard of 01/07/1995, PYC322L disappeared 01/11/1991, PYC323L has a date of liability 01/05/2006, maybe its just of the road somewhere (hopefully) and PYC324L was about until 01/11/2004.

George, PYC 323L is still around and currently for sale on a well known auction site! From the description it needs a considerable amount of work but would be a great project for someone. I have a soft spot for these TK's especially with the Rolls engine. I hope that someone will save her.

It would be good if PYC323L was saved and restored. I own the Land Rover PYC330L that served alongside it at Chard.
