Ford Transit XYB514H Weston Super mare

This photo was taken by Bristol Bob and is published with his permission. It shows the rear of a Ford Transit XYB514H at a fire in Weston Super Mare. Somerset Fire Brigade operated two of this type of appliances on A division and they were stationed at the volunteer stations at Banwell and Wrington. In 1974 the two appliances along with the stations passed into the control of the newly formed Avon Fire Brigade and they were subsequently closed.
