Strictly speaking an HLF is a rescue pumper, carrying hydraulic rescue equipment and additional related items as well as regular hoses etc.

The 20 refers to a 2000 LPM pump at 10 AT, and the 16 to a 1600 liter water tank.

These tucks usually also have class B foam and often a CAFS installation too. The cab normally accommodates six crew members. Those used in cities like this one are usually RWD, but 4X4 units are also fairly commonplace.
