This Ford Thames Trader 55FC from 1963 was put in service with the fire brigade of Losser in the Netherlands. It was a high pressure watertender with bodywork of Den Hartog-Bikkers and was fitted with a Reichert high pressure pomp. It was in service untill 1981. Nowadays it is private hands.

Quite popular in the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and all the way around the World in Australia and New Zealand, Traders never caught on in the UK.

Oxford had an ET and London Salvage Corps had two salvage tenders, but I know of no pumpers ever placed into service in the UK.
