Roswell Georgia Mack Air Light unit

5/19/2009: Roswell FD Air/Light unit. Unk. year Mack chassis. I don't know much about this rig, but it look good for an Air/Light unit.

I believe it is a 2007. That's when it went arrived new. Has a compressor, generator, cascade, 4 bottle refilling station, 2 remote controlled light towers, and a bit of portable lighting. Also has rehab equip.

The chassis is a Mack M series. Originally designed with a low profile two seat cab primarily for garbage truck applications, these were used for quite a number of fire apparatus, including pumpers, aerials, tanker, foam trucks, hose wagons, hi-rise units and other specials.

Many had either canopy or four door crew cabs, but specials often had the standard truck cab, like this gleaming example.
