This is the second generation of the custom built low profile Iveco-Magirus DLK 23-12.
It looks a lot less weird than its predecessors, but I am personally not a fan of the yellow trim and mirrors!
This belongs to Herne, a city of 155, 000 inhabitants, and is operated by the professional paid fire service, which has around 150 staff working out of two fire stations.
They are supported by nine volunteer fire companies, with a total of approximately 200 additional unpaid volunteers.
