Nearly same with our Brunei FRD Bedford TK Breathing Apparatus Tender. Except our BAT has windows and now it is been converted into a CV. Not sure what CV means possible meaning is Canteen Vehicle, Common Vehicle and Command Vehicle.

Jake,Moreton Fire Service College run 3 Bedford TK's simular in shape to the appliance in photo.
The first was a 1984 Bedford TK1260/Wadham Stringer(reg-B839 WYM)used as a Chemical Incident Unit,second was a 1984 Bedford TK1260/Angloco (reg-B924 WYM)used as a Control Unit,and last was a 1984 Bedford TK1260/Saxon(reg-B850 WYM)used as a Breathing Apparatus Tender.All three Bedfords, CIU/CU and BAT all had red liveried boxes.

Another usefull picture, thank you, I didn't know about this vehicle. It looks like it doubles up as a training vehicle too.

It would be simple to do a model of it. All I need to do is find a TK box van truck, repaint it, add a beacon and then I will have a Breathing Apparatus Tender for my model Fire Brigade.

George, this appliance still exists. Up until last year it was owned by a Somerton Fireman and had a fairground organ in the back. He has now sold it and I believe that its now going to be used as a horsebox.
