Thanks again Bob....these were rather uniqie in the civilian airport fire service in that they used 'blown foam' as opposed to 'branch aspirated' foam that the rest of us used. The foam was mixed at the pump and 'blown'
to the monitors or through the sidelines as finished foam. The more 'conventional' way was the water/foam compound mixture was pumped to the 20X monitor or 10x branches on the side lines where air was introduced and finished foam produced and projected onto the fire. Hope this makes sense!
