Fire Engines Photos

Andreas, thank you for sharing your photos with us. Its very interesting to see fire engines from the Czech Republic. Was this picture taken at an incident or an exercise ? Paul.

The picture was taken at an show exercise at the train station from Postoloprty. The pictures of the other engines are taken at the same exercise.

The pumper behind this tanker is a Skoda - also local manufacture in the Czech republic. Both brands continue in production, unlike most of the other trucks which used to be built in former Iron Curtain East European countries.

Both have excellent reputations and are being exported, including a handful of 6X6 brush trucks operating in San Diego.
